I recently came across The Man Repeller. Yes, perhaps I am a bit late to discover this internet pearl, forgive me. However, you know what they say: better late than never.
Leandra Medine, the founder of this magnificent blog, makes a woman proud to have the world of fashion at her disposal. Effectively dressing for herself (and not the opposite sex) through the likes of"harem pants, overalls, shoulder pads, full length jumpsuits and jewelry that resembles violent weaponry", this super-cute blogger contributes to her upbeat fashion sense with a quirky sense of humor.
I used to dress for my boyfriend, but I am putting my foot down. He didn't like neon colors? I'd dress in neutrals. He thought high-waisted shorts with a scalloped hem were weird? I stuck to plain gray leggings. Mind you, I love my boyfriend dearly... but it's true that men just don't GET the way women like to dress!
So thank you, ever-amusing Man Repeller, for giving me the guts and gumption to take ahold of the creative reigns and give my wardrobe a run for its (not-so-abundant) money.
p.s. MR's Guess the Blogger Pose features also crack me up. Seriously, literally 'lol'd.
