These are some leftover photos from Munich, taken on a cold winter morning. I kid you not when I say morning, it was 7 a.m. on a Saturday. Call me crazy, but there's something about winter mornings that make me want to dress up in layers of cosiness and just breathe in the air. Agh, I sound like a tree-hugging hippy.
By the way, I'm having a lot of issues with setting the size of photos with HTML to fit my blog width - it used to work fine, but recently it's just not (hence the grouping of vertical photos, awkward). Have any of you had problems with the Blogger platform? It's driving me crazy, talk about #bloggerproblems

urban yeti

ZARA coat + booties
H&M hat + sheer blouse + clutch

There's something oddly comforting about wearing a coat that engulfs your entire upper being. Perhaps it's the warmth, or perhaps it's just the sheer element of man repelling that naturally occurs when wearing fur of this magnitude. Then again, the male barista at the Starbucks on Broadway did say "damn girl, that coat is fab!" ... so either he was gay, or this coat is not as repelling as I thought. I'm going for gay.
p.s. What do we think of the floppy hat + sunglasses (when it's obviously cloudy) combo. Can anyone say "I think I'm really cool even though I'm really not"?!

{bloggers night out} bloggahs do it bettah

martinis by Yazi Ginger Vodka/ my matching metallic heels cut out/ with newfound (crazy?) friends
love me some glitter/ best blazer ever/ in-house shopping temptation/ from south africa!
cutest 'night out' dress/ more of my metallic-ness/ crazy New York nights

The best thing about being a blogger is the community. I find it so fascinating that you meet these people online, and lo and behold: they turn out to be actual people! People you can make real-life friends with, pop a couple of martinis with, get some late night burger action with (regrettable the next morning, yet fun nonetheless).
Had a ton of fun at The Caulfield on Friday night; a huge thanks to the BNO team for throwing such a fantastic, fashionable event!

There comes a point where you need to drop everything, put on some colorful clothes and hit the playground. We often get so caught up in the stress of life that we forget to have fun, which is exactly what I achieved by being attacked by the wind while I sat atop a plastic purple dinosaur.
On more serious, adult-like terms: Fashion Week is heeeere! (Okay that didn't sound as mature as I hoped it would). Can't wait to meet some of you around New York - hopefully I'll be at Bloggers Night Out on Friday!
